The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Assoc. Prof. Teodor Sedlarski, visited the University of Economics in Hue, Vietnam within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic exchange program for partner countries.
The academic visit was at the invitation of the Rector's Office of the University of Economics in Hue, whose representatives visited Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in November 2018. The partners' wish is to extend the cooperation, the exchange of students, PhD students and faculty with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration as soon as possible.
Meetings with the Rector, the Vice-Rectors, Deans and Faculty managers, as well as with the management of the International Department of the University were held at which follow up work was planned on collaborative projects, publications, the development of joint programs, faculty visits, and student exchanges.
Along with the opportunity to teach Vietnamese students, Assoc. Prof. Sedlarski had the honor of chairing the plenary session held as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Hue University of Economics. The two-day event was attended by senior representatives of the central and local government, rectors of universities and numerous foreign academic guests.
