The dean of FEBA Assoc. Prof Teodor Sedlarski took part in Korea Development Institute program, devoted to the internationalization of the Bulgarian small and medium-sized enterprises.
During the five-day seminar of the Knowledge Sharing Program meetings and discussions were held with government agencies and institutions in Korea whose activities are directed towards supporting small and medium-sized enterprises:
- Small & medium Business Corporation (SBC) & SBC Training Institute
- PanGyo Techno Valley
- Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA)
- Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA)
- Korea`s Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups
- Korea International Trade Association (KITA)
- G-Valley
- Korea Venture Investment Corporation (KVIC)
In the seminar`s final panel the main conclusions were presented from the report, prepared jointly by Korean and Bulgarian experts, which gave suggestions for policies and concrete measures.
Among the members of the Bulgarian delegation in Seoul were Mr. Todor Mladenov, Chief Executive Officer at Sofia Tech Park, Mr. Natanail Stefanov, member of the Management Board of Sofia Tech Park, chair of the Bulgarian Startup Association and BESCO and part-time assistant at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Mr. Boyko Takov, Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Mr. Kalin Marinov, Deputy Director of the “Innovations and Competitiveness” operational program, Mr. Zhecho Zhechev, Chief Expert at the Ministry of Economy, Mrs. Anna-Marie Vilamovska, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Associations and d-r Zornitsa Yordanova, Project Manager in Paraflow Communication.
