On June 1, 2026, the Aula Hall of the Faculty of Biology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” hosted the pilot event “Pilot Testing of AI Training and GreenDigiHub Platform”, bringing together nearly 30 young people under the age of 30 with an interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.
The event was organized within the framework of the international project “Green Digital Hub for Startups and Social Enterprises” (GreenDigiHub) and aimed to present and test both the Artificial Intelligence training program and the GreenDigiHub online platform developed under the project.
During the seminar, participants explored the opportunities that modern AI tools provide for the development of startups and social enterprises. The main functionalities of the GreenDigiHub platform were presented, offering access to training materials, video lectures, practical resources, and tools for developing entrepreneurial skills.
A key highlight of the program was the practical application of the “problem–solution” model, through which participants analyzed real-world social and business challenges and developed innovative solutions using artificial intelligence tools.
As a result of the training, a total of 23 startup and social enterprise ideas were developed and presented. Participants used AI tools for idea generation, market research, business concept development, and the preparation of professional project presentations.
The event also provided an opportunity to collect feedback on both the training program and the GreenDigiHub platform. The recommendations received will be used for the final validation and further improvement of the project outcomes.
The pilot testing confirmed the strong interest among young people in artificial intelligence training and its application in entrepreneurship, as well as the need for accessible digital tools to support the development of innovative business and social ideas.
