For another consecutive year, outstanding students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” will have the opportunity to participate in the Summer School of the EIB Group (comprising the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund). The Summer School is an educational program organized by the EIB Institute, aimed at master’s students, with the following objectives:

  • To provide students with first-hand knowledge of the key activities and responsibilities of the EIB Group;
  • To expand and strengthen the network of EIB Summer School alumni, bringing together current and future stakeholders of the EIB and the future "builders" of Europe.

Participants in the Summer School attend lectures, engage in group discussions, and work on case studies, gaining an in-depth understanding of the mission and impact of the EIB Group and how it addresses the challenges of the European Union. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a certificate issued by the EIB Institute and gain access to all activities of the EIB Summer School alumni program.
The program includes a preparatory phase conducted online, followed by in-person sessions in Luxembourg at the end of June.
Students wishing to participate must submit their CV and motivation letter (in English) by April 25, 2025, to any@feb.uni-sofia.bg. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration will conduct an initial selection of applications, after which an EIB committee will choose the three participants who will take part in this prestigious educational initiative.
The EIB Group Summer School is conducted in English.
