In a highly competitive contest, students Anna-Grace Dacheva and Victoria Hvarchilkova (Business Administration program, 2nd year, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration) won the prestigious third place in the competition “HR: Rush for Practice”, Season 7. More than 112 teams from four leading universities took part in the competition – Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, UNWE, NBU, and UZF.

Sofia University, represented by the Faculty of Philosophy and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, was nominated in the “Talent Creator” category due to the excellent performance of its students, who ranked second and third in the competition. The awards were presented during an official ceremony attended by representatives of the Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM), the business community, and academia.

The “HR: Rush for Practice” competition has been organized for the seventh consecutive year by the startup company Pleggi, with the support of BAPM. It provides students with the opportunity to work on real, practical HR cases related to talent sourcing and recruitment for open positions in various companies.

During the working process, supported by mentors and business representatives, participants develop key practical skills in the areas of business processes and communication, sales and marketing, working with software tools, professional use of social networks, and data analysis. Within the framework of the competition, our students achieved impressive results—they identified over 300 applications, conducted more than 40 interviews, and completed 5 successful hires.
