The first two sessions of the design thinking training for the second-year students at FEBA were held during the “Business Projects in International Environment” course. The training was conducted only online using the Zoom and Google Hangouts platforms. The lecturers presented the lecture content by creating a training video for the students which can be accessed in the system for the online education of Sofia University.
The aim of the training is to introduce the students to innovative technics for creative thinking and problems solving. Over the last years the “Design Thinking” methodology has been gaining popularity and it has been used by many large companies to solve a variety of business problems in different contexts. In the course of the training the students will learn about the philosophy of the method and about what is behind each of the steps of its implementation in practice.
During the whole training, the students will have the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge and skills while dealing with tasks related to the supporting of the organization of “Career forum 5.0 – Jubilee Edition”. The dynamic context of the last weeks have confronted students with challenges that require creative solutions. Each of the teams has been developing solutions in support of the pilot initiative “Online Career Development Month at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration” which is part of this year`s edition of the Career Forum.
