Students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) were among those recognized during the “Student of the Year” ceremony, which brought together outstanding students, faculty members, academic mentors, and representatives of the business community.
In the “Economic Sciences” category, the prestigious “Student of the Year” award was presented to Slavena Dudrenova, a student in the Business Administration in English programme at FEBA. The award was presented by Dimitar Dilov, Chief Executive Officer of DSK Bank. Among the distinguished students in the category were also Velislav Kolev and Magdalena Kuseva, fourth-year students in the Accounting, Finance and Digital Applications in English programme, who received recognition for their academic achievements and active involvement in student life.
During the ceremony, the recipient of Sofia University’s highest distinction, “Student of the Year”, was also announced. The award was presented to Stefani Petrova, a student in the Functional Materials master’s programme at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy.
A special contribution to the festive atmosphere was made by the event hosts, Milyana Stoyanova and Viktor Vladkov, a student from FEBA.
Viktor Vladkov also impressed the audience with his participation in the ceremony’s musical programme, including a piano performance. A key partner of this year’s initiative was the Faculty’s student organization, the Business Club, which made a significant contribution to the successful organization of the event and its strong public and academic impact.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration congratulates all awarded and nominated students for their achievements, dedication, and inspiration. Their accomplishments are yet another testament to the high quality of education, vibrant academic community, and commitment to excellence that define both the Faculty and its students.
The Faculty also extends its sincere gratitude to the Student Council for the excellent organization and inspiring atmosphere of the “Student of the Year” ceremony. We would also like to thank all students, faculty members, staff, alumni, and friends of the Faculty who took part in this celebration of knowledge, talent, and academic spirit. Your presence, support, and engagement transformed the event into a true celebration of the university community and once again demonstrated the strength of the Sofia University community and the contribution of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration to its development and success.
