Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" has signed a memorandum of cooperation with AIM Congress, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This collaboration aims to support the university’s programs and students through:
- Enhancing the quality of education for students and PhD candidates at Sofia University by organizing public lectures, discussions, and other initiatives of mutual interest;
- Updating the curricula of disciplines taught in the bachelor's and master's programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, as well as in PhD programs, including the introduction of new courses and specializations;
- Conducting joint events, training sessions, courses, competitions, and other initiatives of common interest;
- Joint applications for projects/programs in areas of mutual interest;
- Organizing public events to showcase best practices and raise awareness in the areas of interest to both parties;
- Integrating efforts to strengthen international cooperation with other countries;
- Providing student internships and visits, supporting career guidance, and motivating students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration;
- Conducting specialized joint training programs, roundtables, conferences, and other events tailored to practical needs, including postgraduate qualification programs at the university.
This partnership will contribute to strengthening the key role of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University in Bulgaria’s entrepreneurial and innovative startup ecosystem, positioning it on the global investment stage.
The cooperation between the two institutions will also support the launch of the new bachelor's program at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration — "International Trade and Investment", which will be taught in English.
The faculty’s representative in the university's relations with AIM Congress is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova, Head of the Master’s Program „Economics and Management of Public Resources“ at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
