In the context of growing climate challenges and the need for active youth engagement, the Kauzi Foundation and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University are joining forces to implement the project “Green Future: Innovative and Sustainable Solutions for Building a Better World”.
The project is carried out with the financial support of Sofia Municipality – Europe 2025 Programme, and aims to promote education for sustainable development and civic participation among young people.
The event will take place on October 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 315 of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
As part of the project, a simulation workshop entitled “Missions for Active Citizenship and Climate Change” will be organized, offering participants a dynamic and gamified environment for learning and practical application of knowledge.
What is the workshop about?
Participants will engage in an interactive simulation of real social, economic, and environmental challenges, taking on the roles of representatives of:
- business,
- institutions,
- academia,
- the civic sector.
Working in teams, they will make decisions related to sustainable policies and practices, discuss possible scenarios for action, and face the challenges of achieving a green transition and climate neutrality.
Key highlights:
Gamification – game elements that turn learning into an engaging experience.
Practical skills and knowledge – participants will develop competencies related to sustainable development, the circular economy, and innovative climate solutions.
Critical thinking and active citizenship – encouraging young people to be informed, engaged, and active in society.
The workshop is aimed at high school seniors and university students, who will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.
