As part of the "Week of Professions", at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” was held the first of three consecutive lectures, organized by Junior Achievement Bulgaria and WWF Bulgaria, which are dedicated to topics related to climate change and the fair energy transition. The beginning of the event was given by the Deputy Dean of FEBA Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryana Bogdanova.

The lecture "Ideas for action in the fight against climate change" was held in the new meeting place of the Faculty - Creative Space. The lecture is a joint event of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Junior Achievement Bulgaria, where ideas for action in the fight against climate change were presented.

Dr. Marina Stefanova, Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Management of Industries and Vihren Mitev, Expert Program Circular Economics and Green Entrepreneurship at Junior Achievement Bulgaria, spoke about what it takes to turn a cause or dream into a profession, sustainable development, the three main characteristics of business, the new educational products of Sofia University, innovation, green and circular economy and the hope for climate change. The event is part of the Panda Labs Junior project for a fair transition.

Additional opportunities for performances and prizes are provided for all participants in the lectures - they will receive an invitation to participate in an innovative hackathon, which is scheduled to take place on June 18 and 19 in Sofia. The best performing students in the hackathon will have the opportunity to join the regional network with other participants, as well as in the upcoming international meetings of project partners.
