Dear students, faculty members, partners, and friends of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”,
The festive opening of the new academic year of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) will take place on October 1, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Aula of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, 15 Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd.
The celebration will continue at 5:00 p.m. in the building of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (125 Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., Block 3). First-year students will receive their student books and will have the opportunity to meet their professors as follows:
- 5:00 p.m., Room 420 – International Trade and Investment (English program)
- 5:00 p.m., Room 400 – Business Administration (English, French, and German programs)
- 5:00 p.m., Room 300 – Economics and Finance (English and French programs)
- 5:00 p.m., Room 200 – Accounting, Finance and Digital Applications (English program)
- 6:00 p.m., Room 523 – Meeting of the Economics and Finance (French program) and Business Administration (French program) with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sonya Georgieva, Head of the French Program in Economics and Management
- 6:00 p.m., Room 524 – Meeting of the Business Administration (German program) with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bozhidar Nedev, Coordinator of the German Program
At 6:30 p.m., a cocktail sponsored by the Alumni Club and the MBA programs of the Faculty will take place in front of the Faculty building. The musical entertainment will be provided by the band “Georgia's Multilingual Project” and by talented current students of the Faculty.
Please note that October 1, 2025, will be a non-instructional day for all bachelor’s and master’s students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration due to the opening celebrations and scheduled initiatives. Classes will officially start on October 2, 2025 (Thursday).
