The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” has launched a new international academic partnership with S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), India, aimed at building sustainable and effective connections in higher education, research, and cultural exchange.
SPJIMR is an internationally recognised leader in management and business education and holds the prestigious Triple Crown accreditations — AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA — one of the highest forms of recognition for business schools worldwide, placing the institution among the top 1% of business schools globally. In the latest Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) 2025 ranking, SPJIMR is among the top 35 globally and one of the three highest-ranked business schools in India, ranking first in the country in the key “Career Service” category for student career development support.
The collaboration aims to create conditions for active interaction between the academic communities of both institutions through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices, as well as through joint work across various research and educational fields. Mutual support is envisaged for the professional development, training, and academic advancement of faculty members, including participation in joint initiatives, research projects, educational programmes, and academic forums.
The partnership will contribute to expanding the international visibility of both institutions, fostering intercultural dialogue, and creating new opportunities for students, faculty members, and researchers. By combining expertise and resources, the collaboration seeks to support the development of innovative approaches in education and research that address contemporary global challenges.
This initiative represents an important step toward deepening international academic cooperation and establishing long-term relationships based on mutual trust, shared values, and a commitment to high academic achievement.
