On April 30 seven linden trees were planted in front of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, initiated by the National Bureau for Bulgaria at the International University Francophone Agency (AUF) and in honour of the 120th anniversary of the Department of Economics.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Zlatinov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Head of the Department of Economics, Prof. D.Sc. Georgi Chobanov, first dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration after its restoration, Mr. Boris Bonev, municipal councilor and graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Mr. Petar Toparev, head of the National Bureau for Bulgaria at the International University Francophone Agency, lecturers from the Department of Economics, colleagues from the administration, students from the French program in economics and management at the faculty and master's program "Economics and Finance", doctoral students from the doctoral program "Economics and Economic Policy" took part in the planting.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sonia Georgieva, Head of the French Program in Economics and Management, stressed the importance of the event, which shows the systematic efforts of the faculty in building a sustainable model of education and economic development in Bulgaria.
With many smiles and good mood, all those present took part in the improvement of the space around the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
