On March 7, 2023, certificates were given to the successfully passed participants in the pilot ESG Academy, organized by the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and the telecommunications company Yettel.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, Head of the Master's Program "Responsible and Sustainable Governance" and the ESG Academy, stated: “I congratulate Yettel's leadership team for their pioneering role. The first academy, planned and implemented together with industry representatives, shows that sustainability is a leading strategy for development and economic growth in the telecommunications sector. I hope that in 2023 the graduates will implement the interesting and bold solutions that we discussed during the training, and I look forward to its continuation."
The 13 participants, heads of key strategic and operational departments in the company, received their diplomas personally from Mr. Jason King, CEO of Yettel Bulgaria.
