The visit began with a presentation of the career development path of the current staff at the Financial Center. A spontaneous discussion was generated around the topic of career-related decision making – questions were asked about how each of the staff members had decided to become part of the company and how they had made their choice about what to do. One of the most interesting and challenging questions was about the typical work day of a business analyst at IBM. The answer to this question the students received from the weekly work calendar which included examples such as communication with colleagues and clients, preparation for meetings, meetings, financial analyses etc.

The visit continued with a short presentation of the Financial Center by its manager.

The first-year students had the opportunity to do practice work and discuss job search and work experience related questions. They became acquainted with the active and passive labor market concept, as well as with the most common mistakes made when writing a CV.

The meeting ended with a short competition that summed up everything learned during the meeting and reminded the students of some of the topics from the "Basics of Management" discipline.
