On March 6, 2025, the Austrian Embassy in Sofia hosted the launch of the first edition of the CEO for a Day initiative. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is proud to be part of the initiative, which is organized by the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria (CWBB) in partnership with H.E. Andrea Ikić-Böhm, Ambassador of Austria to Bulgaria.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, Vice-Dean for Sustainability, Empowerment, and Engagement, attended the event and met the participant who will have the opportunity to spend a day at FEBA.
"The CEO for a Day initiative by the Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria introduced me to Lazara Prichkapova, and I am excited to spend several days together at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration this April. I thank the organizers for this opportunity and for their trust in our students – the future business leaders of Bulgaria", shared Assoc. Prof. Stefanova.
The CEO for a Day initiative aims to empower and inspire young women in business by providing them with hands-on experience and direct contact with successful professionals. Participants will:
- Gain first-hand insight into the daily life of their assigned executive.
- Attend key meetings and take part in real projects.
- Exchange ideas and feedback with business leaders.
At the end of the pilot edition, a special event in April will give participants the chance to share their experiences and insights from the initiative.
