The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) is participating for the second time in the world’s largest international climate conference, COP29, which this year is taking place in Baku from November 11 to 22, 2024. Our faculty is also hosting a thematic panel discussion focused on fostering an open, fair, and inclusive environment for scientific and technological development and collaboration in the Black Sea region. This includes actively building trust in science, fostering regional collaboration for innovation, using scientific evidence in policy-making, and ensuring that complex global challenges are addressed through interdisciplinary cooperation.
The event will be moderated by Prof. Mercedes Maroto-Valer, FEI, FIChemE, FRSA, FRSC, FRSE, Champion and Director - UK Industrial Decarbonisation Research and Innovation Centre (IDRIC), Director, Research Centre for Carbon Solutions (RCCS).
