The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" has been honored in the "Social Project with Public Impact" category at the B2B Media Annual Awards for successfully hosting the European Ethics Bowl 2025 Finals.
The international competition took place in Sofia in November 2025 with the support of the TWIN4ECO project, the academic community, socially responsible businesses, journalists, and public figures united by a shared commitment to promoting ethical culture and leadership among young people.
The award was accepted by students Viktor Vladkov, Nikola Kostadinov, and Emiliyan Andreev, members of the Faculty's Business Ethics Team. Thanks to their outstanding performances in the European Ethics Bowl student debates in 2023 and 2024, they earned Bulgaria the right to host the European Ethics Bowl 2025 finals.
The award ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Iya Petkova, mentor of the Faculty's Business Ethics Team, as well as Assoc. Prof. Ivan Angelov, who opened the 12th B2B Media Annual Awards Ceremony in his capacity as Vice-President of the National Assembly.
The distinction recognizes not only the successful organization of the international event but also the Faculty's long-standing commitment to strengthening Bulgaria's role in the European academic dialogue on business ethics, corporate responsibility, and sustainable development.
The European Ethics Bowl is an initiative of the European Investment Bank Institute and three leading European universities. The competition fosters the next generation of European leaders by engaging students in debates on real-world business and societal dilemmas. Participants include some of the most outstanding students from leading European universities—future professionals in business, law, technology, and public policy.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration extends its sincere gratitude to all participants, partners, volunteers, and institutions whose dedication contributed to the successful organization of the European Ethics Bowl 2025, making Bulgaria the host of one of Europe's most prestigious student competitions dedicated to business ethics.
