On the eve of the new academic year, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) has acquired a new parking area for 20 bicycles. The bike stands were donated by students from the Master's program "Responsible and Sustainable Governance", class 2024. Earlier this year, they organized a fundraising event called "Make the Change Happen" and collected the funds for the purchase.
The bicycle stands are installed in front of the faculty building and will be available for use by all students. Until now, students who came to lectures by bike had to store them inside the building. Now, they will have the opportunity to park at a designated area, monitored by cameras.
"I am proud that our students see their learning environment as a cause and work actively to transform it into a space of shared values and sustainable living habits", said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, Head of the Master's program “Responsible and Sustainable Governance".
