New applications for admission to the Program on Economic Growth and Development will be accepted until October 12nd, 2014.

 

The Economic Development Certificate Program offered by the Center comprises of two major courses. Students who successfully complete both courses are awarded a graduate certificate in economic development.

 

Attending the courses offered by the Center is, and has always been, completely free. All required reading materials – case studies and academic articles, will be freely offered to admitted students in electronic format through the program’s website.

 

Application Process

 

To apply for admission, please send an e-mail to info@economicstrategy.org with the following information:

 

  1. Submit a short essay of up to 350 words on the following topic:What are your career aspirations? How will the Center’s program in economic development help you achieve them?
  2. Include academic transcript from all college and university programs you have completed or are enrolled in (Graduates can provide a scanned copy of diploma).
  3. Submit a recent CV.

 

Please, note that successful applicants must have passed their second college degree year and at the time of application be enrolled in their third (at least) year.

 

The list with admitted participants will be announced for the MOC course will be announced on October 14th.

 

The first session of the MOC course will be held at 6:30pm on October 16th, 2014 at the America for Bulgaria Hall at the Rectorate Building of Sofia University. Please consult the course syllabus (last term’s syllabus currently available) for the schedule and reading list.

 

* Note: we do not need official university transcripts or diplomas; just a student-provided degree list, course list(s) and grades. We may request that some students present official transcripts once they are admitted in the program.
