The ozone.bg website has started the pre-sale sale of a new book by Dr. Marina Stefanova – academic at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and lecturer in the Faculty’s programs in corporation management, corporation social responsibility and business sustainability. The book presents a survey of the modern theories of SSC and the specific manifestations of the economic model in the performance and results of companies having up to 250 employees. On the basis of the deep analysis of key theories and empirical research six main factors have been derived, which affect the SSC activities of the Bulgarian small and medium enterprises.

 

The book is intended for students, PhD students and lecturers in the bachelor`s, master`s and PhD programs at faculties of political, economic and technical sciences; for experts and company executives, analytical centers, professional and branch associations; for investors and administrators.

 

Dr. Marina Stefanova is lecturer of corporation management, corporate social responsibility and business sustainability at FEBA, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and at the Higher School of Insurance and Finance. Apart from her work in the academic sphere, she is also Chairman of the Bulgarian Association of SSC Specialists, Director of Sustainable Development of the United Nations Global Compact Network Bulgaria and a consultant of the “Business for Results” program at UNICEF in Bulgaria.

 

She has been working actively for the setting of standards and policies in the SSC field as a member of The Mirror Committee of ISO 26 000 at the Bulgarian institute for standardization, a member of the Advisory Board on SSC at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and as an active participant in the work of the Economic and Social Council.
