Ph.D. Course “Academic Writing” for FEBA students in business administration and economics

 

 

On the 27th and 28th September 2017 Prof. Dr. Henrik Egbert taught a course on “Writing Scientific Journal Articles”. The course was organized as part of the ERASMUS+ exchange program between FEBA and the Faculty of Economics at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Germany. 11 Ph.D. students from business administration and economics applied for participation. Among them Hristina Stoyanova, Slavi Slavchev, Mariya Zheleva, Dilian Vasilev, Ivelin Parvanov, Teodora Marinova, Aleksey Potebnya, Tsvetina Lungarova.

 

The course objectives were to enhance academic writing skills by addressing the structure of academic texts. Students had also the chance to present their acquired skills in a specific session for doctoral students at the 20th FEBA annual conference chaired by Professor Egbert on the 30th of September. It is planned to repeat similar courses for Ph.D.-students in future ERASMUS+ visits of Professor Egbert.
