Associate Professor Dimitar Zlatinov, PhD

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Economics and Chairman of the Academic Affairs Commission of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Since 2020, Assoc. Prof. Zlatinov has been the Head of the Department of Economics, where he was previously Scientific Secretary. He is the Director of Master’s Program in Customs and Tax Control and the Administrator of the Master’s Program in Economics and Finance.

Assoc. Prof. Zlatinov has specialized in Austria at the International Monetary Fund and in Luxembourg at the European Court of Auditors. In 2014 he participated in the Fifth Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Germany. He worked at the Bulgarian National Bank in 2010-2016.

Assoc. Prof. Zlatinov has participated in 14 international, national and university research and applied projects. He is the author of over 50 publications in the country and abroad related to the study of the cyclical development of the economy, the modeling of macroeconomic processes, the interaction of macroeconomic policies, and the labor market.
