Required documents for M.Sc. application in Chemistry for the academic year 2023/2024

 

The applicants submit to the Inspector for education of international students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy the following documents:

 

1. Application form

2. Copy of the Passport / ID card

3. A scanned internationally acknowledged certificate for English language proficiency

4. A scanned document that certifies the payment of the application fee

 

The application fee can be paid:

1) In cash – Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, 1 James Bourchier blvd., V floor

2) Via a bank Transfer to the account of Sofia University:

Bulgarian National Bank – Central Office

Depositor: the full name of the applicant.

 

5. A scanned original diploma for completed B. Sc. or M. Sc. education:

5.1. EU citizens: Applicants who graduated non-Bulgarian higher education institutions submit a Certificate for acknowledged B. Sc. or M. Sc. education issued by Sofia University after undergoing a procedure for diploma recognition. The certificate contains the grades in the different subjects recalculated according to the Bulgarian grade system. Guidelines for the procedure of diploma recognition may be found here.

5.2. non-EU citizens: Applicants who graduated non-Bulgarian higher education institutions submit a Certificate for acknowledged B. Sc. or M. Sc. education issued by Sofia University after undergoing a procedure for diploma recognition. The certificate contains the grades in the different subjects recalculated according to the Bulgarian grade system. Guidelines for the procedure of diploma recognition may be found here. The applicants should note that their documents will be sent by the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy to the Ministry of Education and Science in order to receive a special document which is needed for Visa D application. The procedure takes at least 1.5 months before the applicant may be enrolled. Please have this in mind and submit the application documents well in advance.
