The team of the national student television channel “Alma Mater” initiates a campaign “Studentski Grad for the students”. “It is sad that the tragic death of the medical student Stoyan Baltov is the event that attracted the attention to the student problems and the district they inhabit” shared the members of the team. They believe that the society has to take measures against the violence in Studentski Grad, as the pilot programme of the Alma Mater TV suggested that life in the Student District is a survival lesson. The programme is “Ku-ku: Reloading” and the shots had finished before the tragic incident happened.
The initiators of the campaign seek for the help of other non-governmental youth organizations, the media, the Government, and the Municipality to join their effort to stop the violence and guarantee normal life conditions for the young people.
