Students want to be heard, as it has become obvious through the various student forums and activities. They share their opinion about the university education they receive. In the context of making the importance of the university as the place for development of science, the nation’s future, and the student personal development visible, the main goal of the educational reforms is to use it as a motive for university education.

This was the main point of the Student National Conference 'Bulgarian Students: Education, Values, Policies', organized by the Student Council of Faculty of Philosophy. Students from eight universities took part in the conference with papers on professional realization and university structure. The most attractive topics were these about student governing, education orientation towards practical skills development and international collaboration. Student cooperation of the Balkan countries was discussed. The papers will be collected in proceedings, however the participants expressed their regrets that the discussions could not be published as well.
