Daniel Stoev
The national students' conference, dedicated to the 125th Jubilee of the University, started today.
The conference is attended by representatives of all Students' Councils of the universities in Bulgaria, who will discuss hot issues regarding the funding of higher education, the ways the education is delivered, the professional realization, students' citizenship culture, etc. The goal is the gathering of representatives to consolidate on common guidelines and measures in the field of educational law and policies.
The event was officially opened by Daniel Stoev, Chair of Sofia University Students' Council, who noted that the conference is a step toward debate among the students' councils. He stressed on the need of stable collaboration and connection between the councils. The Rector also addressed the students, noting the importance of the students' councils to be initiative.The three days of the Conference will be dedicated to presentations followed by discussions.
