SIETAR Bulgaria organized the traditional conference with the support of Sofia University on Cultural barriers to citizenship participation.
SIETAR (Society for Inercultural Education, Training and Research – is the biggest interdisciplinary network in the world, gathering practitioners and scientists in the field of intercultural relations, with more than 3000 members of the European branch of SIETAR.
The goal of the conference is to analyse and discuss the basic obvious and hidden cultural barriers to citizenship participation. The theme is particularly important in the context of the crisis from global, European and Bulgarian perspective.
The conference is a great opportunity to consolidate the joint efforts and competence of many specialists: sociologists, psychologists, pedagogists, historians, linguists.
