  • 1987-1991 31st High School for Foreign Languages and Management "Ivan Vazov", Sofia.
  • 1991-1996 MA in History, specialized in Ethnology, Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski”, Faculty of History.
  • 1999-2002 MA in Management, University of National and World Economy, Faculty of Management and Information Technology.
  • 2007-2012 PhD student at the Department of Ethnology at the Faculty of History, Sofia University. Dissertation: “Woman in the Bulgarian Family (mid 40-s - end of 80-s, 20th century)”.
  • 1996-1999 Senior Expert, Head of dept. "International and Public Relations" and Secretary of the Accreditation Council in the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (for Higher education), Sofia.
  • 1999-2004 Marketing Manager in Bultrade-Ltd., Sofia.
  • 2004-2006 Economy Analyst in the Legal dept. of Bulgarian Telecommunication Company, Sofia.
  • 2013-2015 Visiting Assistant Professor of Ethnology at the Department of Ethnology at the Faculty of History, Sofia University.

  • 1996-2000 Special training under PHARE projects on quality assessment, quality assurance and quality management in higher education.
  • 1998 Special training under TEMPUS project “Institutional Systems for Quality Assurance” in Staffordshire University, UK.
  • 2007-2013 Work under „Collegium Historicum“ doctoral and post-doctoral educational program at the Faculty of History, Sofia University.

Contemporary Ethnology; Bulgarian Culture and Society in the Socialist and Post-socialist Periods; Cultures in Periods of Transition; Family and Gender Problems; Bulgarian Traditional Culture.
