The State Consolidation Company (SCC) EAD and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” signed a strategic partnership in order to train qualified executives in the field of public companies and state-owned companies. Within the framework of the cooperation, The State Consolidation Company experts will share practical experience related to the management of the activities of state-owned companies, which includes expertise in a number of areas such as corporate finance, trade, law, audit, data analysis and others.

"We plan to update the curricula in the disciplines taught in the bachelor's and master's programs of the Faculty of Economics, according to the current needs of business, including the introduction of new courses and specialties related to good corporate governance in public enterprises. As a company that brings together strategically important assets for the state, SCC can significantly improve the level of practical training of students interested in management functions in the public sector", said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski”.
"It is extremely important for the state-owned companies in our country to have excellent management staff with strategic thinking and an approach that will guarantee sustainability and profitability of their activities in the long run. We will be happy to share our knowledge and experience in the management of public enterprises with our future colleagues, including through practice-oriented seminars, conferences and public lectures", said Dr. Raya Kanazireva, Executive Director of SCC.
The partnership also envisages educational activities to be open to journalists in the field of public enterprises, in support of the transparency policy adopted by the State Consolidation Company EAD.
