The second edition of “Economic Theories (A history of Economic Thought)” (“St. Kliment Ohridski “ University Press, ISBN: 978-954-07-4922-8) by Prof. Dr. Teodor Sedlarski came out of press.

The book offers an introduction to the evolution of the economic science from its origins to the present: from the emergence of economic thought in ancient Greece and Rome, through the economic contemplations and suggestions of the mercantilists, the development of classical political economics – from William Petty and Pierre Boisguilbert, the physiocrats` school, Adam Smith, David Ricardo and Thomas Robert Malthus to Jean-Baptiste Say, the German historical school, the neoclassical economic theory – the marginalist revolution in England, Austria and Switzerland and “the Marshall` epoch”, the Keynesian economic analysis, the monetary counter revolution vs. the Keynesian ideas in the work of Milton Friedman to the modern scientific tendency of the new institutional economics and the recent achievements in the economic analysis of law.
