On June 5, 2025, students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and high school students visited the office of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria as part of a special “Open Doors Day” event. The initiative was jointly organized by the faculty, the FEBA Alumni Club, the Business Club, and the Career Center at FEBA.

The event took place at the company’s modern building in Business Park Sofia, where participants immersed themselves in the corporate culture of the leading bottler of Coca-Cola branded products. They had the opportunity to meet in person with the company’s finance team and gain insights into working in an international business environment.

The event was opened by Krum Stoimenov, Chief Financial Officer of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria and alumnus of FEBA, who presented the structure and functions of the finance department, as well as the company as a whole. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of young talent and strong academic preparation as key factors for success in a dynamic and competitive environment.

They presented various aspects of their work and shared experiences about the challenges and opportunities within a global financial structure.

Participants also received valuable information about internship programs and career opportunities at the company, including practical tips for succeeding in the recruitment process and the key qualities sought in candidates.

The event was a clear example of effective collaboration between academia and the business world. It demonstrated how real-life meetings with professionals, hands-on experiences, and inspiration from successful alumni can foster students’ professional development.
