On 14.01.2023, Mr. Stefan Bakalov, Head of the Department “Combating Drug Trafficking” in the Central Customs Department – Customs Agency, gave a guest lecture to the students of the master’s program “Customs and Tax Control”, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsvetan Madanski within the discipline “Customs control”.

The topic of the lecture was “New psychoactive substances, global drug trafficking and new risks”.

An extremely interesting and useful presentation, delivered professionally, also touching on the topic of the global drug market, which is expanding and becoming increasingly complex. A very fruitful discussion ensued between the lecturer and the students regarding narcotic substances carried by post and courier, as well as the subject of “controlled supplies”.
