After the speeches of the book reviewers, Prof. Davidkov presented his research. It has traced what have been the constant and the variable elements of the mentality on a national and organizational level in the period 1995 – 2014. On the grounds of four surveys (1995, 2001, 2008, 2014) conducted with G. Hofstede’s method, the study has mapped the dynamics of the fundamental work values and the changes in the degrees of satisfaction with organizational structures.

A separate line of the study has been devoted to knowledge of cultures as a resource for good management. The “meeting” between culture and management has been effected by means of the “Managers Meet Culture” dictionary and cases in which managers try to make sense of culture and utilize their knowledge about it.

Prof. Tsvetan Davidkov is lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridksi”. He teaches academic courses in management behaviour, national and organization culture, entrepreneurship, etc. His research interests are in the sphere of work culture and entrepreneurship.
