October, 21 was the start of the academic year for the new two-semester master’s program “Energy Markets and Services” at the Industrial Economics and Management Department of FEBA. The students were welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Atanas Gerogiev, Program Director, and Assist. Prof. Maria Trifonova, Program Coordinator. The program started with a lecture course on “Regulated Services, Markets and Pricing”.

The program is aimed at meeting the needs of working professionals and the training is part-time. The specialised disciplines are arranged in three five-day modules during the winter semester and two five-day modules during the summer semester.

 

Over 30 students have enrolled for the first run of the program. At the end of their training they will have to defend master’s theses in November 2020.
