A national approach or a European approach to energy production, supply and policy: which works better in the interest of the economy, of consumers and of the environment?

On May 04, 2023, Thursday, from 11:00 to 12:30, in room 401, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University has the pleasure to invite you to a guest lecture by Mr. Peter Styles, a member of the Board of the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET).

Mr. Peter Styles is the owner and director of Stratos Energy Consulting. Since 2000 Peter has been a Member of the Board of the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET). He expanded the activities of EFET in eastern Europe in the early 2000s and was a regular attendee at the EU Athens Forum from 2003 till 2012.

Peter's corporate career before he founded Stratos Energy Consulting in 2002 encompassed project work in upstream oil and gas, power plant development, the management of a gas pipeline business and, in the 1990s, the establishment of the first truly independent pan-European power and gas trading business. Peter is a lawyer by profession and lives with his family in Canterbury, England.
