On March 13, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) hosted a meeting with students from high schools in Sofia, Kyustendil, and Sandanski. They were invited by Mrs. Maya Gesheva, Director of the National High School in Finance and Business, as part of the activities under the National Program “Innovations in Action”.

The event was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of FEBA, who welcomed the students and their teachers and briefly introduced them to the history and development of the faculty.

“It is a great pleasure for us to welcome you here. I would like to wish you a successful event, encouraging you to exchange ideas and experiences throughout the day. I hope you leave with many new ideas and continue this collaboration, as it helps us all move forward”, he stated.

“Mrs. Gesheva, thank you for the initiative and for making this event happen at our faculty today. I am delighted to see future applicants among the audience. I hope your time at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is both productive and enjoyable”, added Prof. Dr. Eleonora Stancheva-Todorova, Head of the Master’s Program in “Accounting and Audit” and Executive Director of the Faculty's Career Center.

Mrs. Maya Gesheva also expressed her gratitude to the hosts for their hospitality.

During their visit to the faculty, the students and teachers had the opportunity to explore the campus and meet some of the faculty members. They were impressed by the modern academic environment and the student recreation areas.

The students were also introduced to one of the projects of the FEB Foundation – EthiCitizen, presented by Magdalena Marteva, the project leader. Some students even joined the sustainable habits platform during the event.
