The ESG Lab team from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, participated in a series of working meetings with leading academic institutions in Geneva, Switzerland. The working group aims to establish close collaboration and exchange expertise to contribute to new research and projects capable of addressing contemporary global challenges in climate diplomacy, sustainability, crisis preparedness, and humanitarian aid.
The team met with representatives of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), which operates as a specialized division within the UN system. The institute plays a key role in capacity building and skill development necessary for effectively tackling global challenges, thus reflecting the international community’s strategic focus on sustainability and development.
The ESG Lab team also met with representatives of the Geneva Graduate Institute – a prestigious institution for international studies and development with a long-standing tradition and strong ties to the UN.
Additionally, a meeting was held at Geneva Business School, a modern Swiss educational institution committed to building a sustainable society through an international approach to education.
