The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”and the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce for the fifth time organized together Career Forum 5.0, which was held at the “Online FEBA” study environment on October 20, 2020. Career Forum 5.0 is part of a series of events marking the 30th anniversary of FEBA. 30 leading employers participated in the forum with virtual stands and virtual presentation halls.

The forum provided an opportunity for students studying at the faculty to meet with leading employers and in friendly conversations to find out about career opportunities offered by participating companies.

The organized event was suitable both for students who are actively looking for a job or internship, and for first and second year students who wanted to get acquainted with the variety of professions suitable for their educational profile. In case of mutual interest, the format of the forum provides an opportunity to conduct an interview.

During the event, each student at FEBA had access through the e-learning system of Sofia University to the virtual stands of all participating companies.

“Online FEBA“ is a virtual space, part of the e-learning system of Sofia University, created especially for the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in response to the communication challenges related to the state of emergency. Through the Online Faculty of Economics, students have the opportunity to participate in career events and gain access to recordings from virtual guest lectures and webinars, as well as information about career counseling opportunities, upcoming trainings and upcoming events.

A special address to the students was made by Assoc. Prof. Boryana Bogdanova, Vice-Dean Partnerships with Business and Alumni Community, in which she said that the team is extremely happy that despite the emergency and the challenges associated with it, enthusiastically managed to organize a Career Forum 5.0. This made it possible for the young student to learn about the variety of career opportunities and to understand what inspires them and to make their conscious choices.

The following companies participated in the Career Forum 5.0: Apex Group Bulgaria, Bonev Soft Auditing, Cargill Bulgaria, Cash Credit, C3i Solutions, Credissimo, Deloitte Bulgaria, dm Bulgaria, Experian Bulgaria, HP Enterprise, iCard, iCover, INDEAVR, Kaufland Bulgaria, Klear Lending, LIDL Bulgaria, OnProcess Technology Bulgaria, Partners Group Bulgaria, Paynetics, Paysera Bulgaria, Pontica Solutions, Postbank, PwC Bulgaria, Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, Telus International, TINQIN Bulgaria, TMF Group, UniCredit Bulbank, VMware Bulgaria, Zaedno-v-chas. The project "Student Internships - Phase 2" was also presented.
