On April 10, 2025, a presentation of Bulgarian academic programs taught in French took place in Skopje, North Macedonia. The event featured representatives from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, the Technical University, New Bulgarian University, the National Office of the University Agency for Francophony – Bulgaria, among others. The event was held with the active support of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of North Macedonia, the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Center in Skopje, and the French Institute. Its aim was to promote French-language programs offered by Bulgarian universities to high school students, prospective university applicants, and a broader audience of interested individuals in North Macedonia.

Assoc. Prof. Sonya Georgieva and Chief Assist. Prof. Rositsa Zlatinska presented the dynamic development of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and its academic programs. Given the focus of the event, they highlighted in greater detail the French-taught degree programs in “Economics and Finance” and “Business Administration”, which offer students the opportunity to obtain a double degree from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and partner universities in France – Université de Lille and Université de Poitiers, respectively.
