On March 20, as part of the lecture on "PMI Standards for Project Management" by Prof. Dr. Kamen Spassov at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, guest speaker Aneliya Chervenova, President of PMI Bulgaria Chapter, shared insights on artificial intelligence and its application in project management.
Students had the opportunity to:
- Learn the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, its types, and how it applies to project management.
- Get acquainted with Generative AI (GenAI) and Predictive AI, and understand how these technologies can enhance project planning, monitoring, and cost management.
- Participate in an interactive discussion with the guest speaker and receive practical examples of AI implementation in project management.
- Gain valuable insights into writing prompts for working with Generative AI, including ethical standards and adapting to new technologies.
Key takeaways from the lecture:
• AI does not replace project managers – it elevates them to a new level!
• The future is not Human vs. Machine but Human with Machine!
The lecture sparked great interest and engagement among students, who actively participated with questions about the use of AI in project management.
A big thank you to all participants for their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn!
Special thanks to our guest speaker Aneliya Chervenova and to Prof. Dr. Kamen Spassov!
