The Union of Economists in Bulgaria is recruiting participants for the Young Economist Competition 2020.

The aim of the National competition of UEB is to provoke young people to discuss and develop ideas which would give answers to the following questions:

• What requirements does digitization make on the human factor?
• How do education and training prepare people for digitization?
• What characteristics does the digital economy have and how does Bulgaria face the challenges of the digitization?
• Has digitization progressed in education and how can the further transition to a digital economy be facilitated?
• What is the contribution of digitization to the economy and society? How can the involvement of the Bulgarian economy and society in the processes of digitization be improved?
• What are the European policies for expanding the digitization process?
