The Economic Development Course "Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC)”, part of the Harvard Courses at FEBA of Sofia University, is held for the twelfth time this year.

 

The course starts on 8 October 2019, 18:30, at the “America for Bulgaria” hall of Sofia University and it will be held every Tuesday and Thursday.

MOC comprises a series of lectures in the course of which participants handle real cases in the field of economic growth and development. The lectures are delivered by Bulgarians, who have graduated from the University of Harvard, who are also the initiators of the program. The study materials are based on business cases, developed and used in Prof. Michael E. Porter’s classas at Harvard Business School. In addition, the participants develop their own projects with a practical focus on the solving of real cases in the Bulgarian economy context, as they meet with representatives of the business, the public sector, branch organisations and associations, as well as educational institutions.

MOC is suitable for young Bulgarians, students or graduates, who would like to upgrade their knowledge in the field of problem solving, the formation and growth of clusters and economic development in general.

 

The participants also receive exclusive access to the alumni organisation, which provides the opportunity for making new contacts and work on future collaborative projects.

 

The lectures are only in English and participation in them is completely free of charge.

  • a list of the subjects they have studied and their grades (academic reference can be submitted).
