On April 24th and 25th, 2024, the Association for Production, Storage, and Trading of Electrical Energy (APSTE), the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", and the magazine "Utilities" organized the sixth consecutive edition of the training on "Best Practices in Photovoltaic Power Plant Construction". In 2022 and 2023, five more editions of the same training were held, with over 350 industry professionals participating.

The event was opened by Mariyana Yaneva, Vice President of the Association for Production, Storage, and Trading of Electrical Energy (APSTE), and by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev.

APSTE 6-1

The lecturers in the training included Mariyana Yaneva (APSTE); Valentin Gospodinov, Director Sunotec Bulgaria; Dimitar Dimitrov, Renewable Energy Insurance Broker; Dimitar Tsekov, Technical Director, Renergy; Krasimira Petkova, ESG Manager, Eneri; Kristiyan Mitov and Roza Ivanova, xFigure Finance; Stefana Tsekova, lawyer, Schoenherr. The training is part of the initiatives related to the Master's program "Energy Markets and Services" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University.

The course is based on the "EPC Best Practice Guidelines" by SolarPower Europe, translated in Bulgarian by APSTE and supplemented with guidance from the experience of Bulgarian companies – members of APSTE, both in local and international markets.

All participants received certificates from the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, at the end of the second day.
