On October 19, the guest speaker in the Master's program "Energy Markets and Services" was Nikolay Minkov. Mr. Minkov is a long-time participant in the development of the electricity market in Bulgaria and the key processes of its reformation. He was also the first co-director from the business of the master's program when it was created in 2005 as "Economics and Management in Energy".

Engineer Minkov recalled the main reasons for the liberalization of the electricity markets in the USA, Europe, and other regions of the world, the processes of reforming the electricity market in the country, as well as the key participants in the main stages of its development.

During his lecture, Mr. Minkov noted the leading role of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration for the creation and dissemination of educational and scientific content for the development of the electricity industry in the country, as well as for the professional training of professionals working in the industry.
