Social acceptance of renewable energy and new technologies for its utilization have been subject of academic research for more than a decade. The social aspects of low-carbon technologies' diffusion are gaining in importance for ensuring just energy transition and comprehensive decarbonisation.

Pursuant to agreement for collaborative research on the subject, signed between the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University and the PURPOSE Climate Lab, a report on the public attitudes of RES in Bulgaria has been published by Assist. Prof Mariya Trifonova.

The project is implemented with the kind collaboration and partnership of the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD), the Burgas Municipality, and Marketing Agency “Market Links”.
