Call for recruitment of administrative staff from the GATE Institute for Big Data for a Smart Society

Responsibilities:

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in building the project plan and budgeting for the project. You will be expected to coordinate human resources, manage subcontractors and ensure project objectives are met.

Your responsibilities include monitoring and controlling research, dissemination of information and adherence to the budget and quality objectives of the project.

In addition, you will be involved in preparing bids, organizing meetings and presentations. You will be actively involved in finding suitable partners to collaborate with and/or implement a specific case study. You will have the opportunity to create reports and coordinate with the team, motivating everyone to reach common goals.

You must be willing to learn new technologies and resolve conflicts that may arise. Your role includes other specific tasks related to the position.

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • College degree in economics, engineering or other related field preferred;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

 

Required Expertise:

  • Additional specialisation in planning, management and reporting of projects with European and national public funding is an advantage;
  • An established international and national business network and personal contacts in the Public Sector will be considered a strong advantage;
  • Excellent oral and written English language skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong self-motivation, results orientation, organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong negotiation skills when working with partners and contractors;
  • Time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

  2. An interview with the successful candidates will take place until 03.01.2024
  3. All interviewed candidates will be informed of the outcome of the competition.
  4. The selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis.
