In response to public talks for the media by the Secretary General of the National Representation of the Student Councils, Sofia University Rector Prof. Ilchev expressed his firm position against any attempts his name to be used without his explicit consent in support to the requests this organization announced.
Prof. Ilchev has never met, on no occasion, representatives of the National Representation of the Student Councils and has never expressed support to their requests.
A common position of Sofia University lecturers and students is under development. It will contain a totally new philosophy regarding financing quality higher education and science. It is to be presented at an Academic Council Assembly on 27th March, 2013.
