Each Master’s Degree Programme includes courses in the following groups of disciplines:

 

  • Core: a module of courses compulsory for students who do not hold a BA or MA degree in Social Work. The Module covers the following subjects: Introduction to Social Work, Methods of Social Work, Organization and Management of Social Work, Psychology, Legal Aspects of Social Work, Social Medicine. Each course ends with an exam.

 

  • Compulsory: 4 compulsory courses carrying a total of 20 credits. Each course ends with an exam.

 

  • Elective: From a range of courses offered in the programme, students choose a minimum of 4 carrying a total of 20 credits. Completion of each course is based on continuous assessment.

 

  • Optional: Courses chosen by students from among those offered in all other programmes.
