The monograph “Sustainability Reporting. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Aspects of Corporate Activities” by Dr. Marina Stefanova, was published by the University Publishing House “St.Kliment Ohridski”.

The book summarizes the historical and conceptual stages for the formation of non-financial reporting as a tool for presenting the activities of enterprises in the field of environmental, social and management aspects. The types of data, their sources and users are analyzed. An in-depth review of the understanding, content, principles and indicators used in the sustainability reports, as well as the processes of their communication, verification and evaluation, has been made.

It is designed for students, doctoral students and lecturers in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs at the faculties of political, economic, natural and technical sciences; for experts and managers in companies, think tanks, professional and branch associations; for investors and administrators.

Dr. Marina Stefanova graduated in law and business administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” and specialized in European law at Cambridge University. She studied corporate sustainability and responsibility and social entrepreneurship in Austria, Great Britain and Switzerland. Dr. Stefanova is the chairman of the Bulgarian Association of CSR Specialists (BAKSOS) and a consultant of the Business for Results program at UNICEF in Bulgaria. Actively assists in the creation of standards and policies in the field of CSR as a member of the Mirror Committee of ISO 26 000 at the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization, the CSR Advisory Board at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the National Contact Point at the Executive Agency for SME Promotion, Bulgaria Chamber of Mining and Geology and the Economic and Social Council. Initiates key projects such as the Causes Foundation, CSR Advice Box and b4b hub.

Chief Assistant and Director of the master's program "Responsible and Sustainable Governance" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” and lecturer in the disciplines “Responsible and Sustainable Development”, “Systematization and Standardization of CSR”, “Good Corporate Governance” and “Introduction to CSR and Sustainable Business Development”, in both Bulgarian and English. Head of the ESG Academy at the Center for Educational Services at Sofia University.
